Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados has helped Brazilian real estate company Odebrecht Realizações Imobiliárias purchase real estate in São Paulo from bicycle maker Bicicletas Monark.
The deal closed on 2 August for 260 million reais (US$150 million) with Bicicletas Monark represented by Arruda Alvim e Thereza Alvim Advocacia e Consultoria Jurídica.
Odebrecht completed the purchase through BMX Realizações Imobiliárias e Participações for the Santo Amaro-based property, which has a total area of over 82,000 square metres.
