Veirano Advogados and White & Case LLP have helped Brazilian iron ore miner Manabi carry out a capital increase through a private placement which saw US investment fund EIG Global Energy Partners join existing shareholders to subscribe to US$300 million worth of shares.
EIG sought counsel from Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados, Brazil’s Lefosse Advogados and Canada’s Torys LLP advised OTPP, while KIC turned to Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Brazil’s Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados.
