In the first category, our dispute resolution department advised Petrobrás Distribuidora and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in the judicial recovery plan of Celpa, the Brazilian power distribution company of the State of Pará.
In the second category, Machado Meyer was awarded for advising Brazilian airline TAM in its merger with Chilean LAN, creating Latin America’s largest airline, called LATAM.
The awards dinner was held on March 19th, in São Paulo.
