Machado Meyer is recognized for its efforts in promoting womens advancement in the legal profession

Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados achieved four recognitions at the Americas Women in Business Law Awards, held on June 5th 2013 in New York, being the Latin American firm with the most awards that night. The event is run by Euromoney, one of the largest business and financial magazines that recognizes the most active firms in supporting women′s advancement in the legal profession.

At the event, our firm was awarded the Best Firm in Brazil, the Best National Firm for Women in Business Law, as well as the Best Gender Diversity Firm in Brazil. In addition, our partner in the Corporate and Capital Markets practice, Eliana Chimenti, received the Best Corporate Lawyer in Latin America award.

The research was conducted with leading female practitioners across multiple jurisdictions and areas of law. Individual winners were judged on their professional accomplishments as well as advocacy and influence within her field over the last 12 months.
