Mattos Filho took the top spots yet again in a year that saw firms in Latin America’s troubled largest economy encounter challenging conditions for M&A deals. [...] Working on 22 reported deals over the course of 2015, Mattos Filho appeared on 19 per cent fewer deals, while in second place Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados reported 14 per cent fewer. Pinheiro Neto Advogados has dropped from joint second place (which it used to share with Machado Meyer) to third place, reporting 15 deals (down from 21 in 2014).
